New York Islanders

The New York Islanders were the first NHL team to install a DreamSuite in their arena. With lower than expected general attendance, they were looking for ways to generate a buzz and increase VIP seating in the aging Coliseum. They were initially hesitant as they had to overcome issues of limited space and the ability to easily convert during changeovers to other events. Seating Solutions consulted on the project and solved both issues by designing a quickly removable DreamSuite in the opening where the Zamboni enters the ice. This area left all existing site lines in tact and did not take away any existing seating. The DreamSuite was installed with 3 New York Islanders DreamSeat leather reclining chairs and a 42" flat panel television.

The DreamSuite was installed with 14 games left in the 2007 season and tickets were split between Seating Solutions, the New York Islanders, their sponsor NY Lottery and a couple of Islander/Ranger games were auctioned off for charity.
