Congratulations to the class of 2015! Seating Solutions was very proud this week to provide seating for the Commencement of the US Coast Guard Academy.  The Coast Guard Academy was looking to expand their seating this year because President Obama was scheduled to speak. In the very beginning, President Obama not only congratulated the graduates but also urged the cadets to congratulate their guests. “–Cadets, I know that none of you reached this day alone. So join me in giving a huge round of applause to your mentors and your incredible parents and your family members – so many of them, themselves, veterans as well.  Please give them a big round of applause.” We agree that graduation ceremonies aren’t just for the students. We wanted to make sure all guests enjoyed the day by ensuring they were seated comfortably.

As we do annually, we provided the Coast Guard Academy a section of tiered seating with a combination of our very comfortable Ultimate Flip Up seating, followed by our Ultimate bench style seating. Due to the attendance we added two additional units of our blue Ultimate Flip Up seats on the Academy’s parade field for the weekend festivities. .  Total seat count was 792 flip up seats and 1568 bench seats.   This Ultimate system is modular in design allowing us to make a smooth transition with the aisles in our system to match the aisles in their existing grandstand.   Of course we protected their beautiful grass under our system so that when we dismantle, the grounds will not be disturbed.
