2017 Temporary Stadium Renovation: For almost a decade, Seating Solutions has been involved with the Final Four Fan Fest for the annual celebration of the NCAA Final Four games. This year, fans of all ages came to the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ for a weekend full of activities and fun. Seating Solutions designed and built a temporary stadium for this event as the venue packed in fans from University of South Carolina, Gonzaga, Oregon, and UNC, as well as others from all over to support their teams.
Seating Solutions Provided: This customized solution consisted of our “safety code compliant” Ultimate seating systems that held 1,800 fans in our Ultimate Black Flip Up Seats. Seating Solutions had no problem building around existing large columns as the Ultimate system is modular in design. An understand tunnel allowed player access to the court. For the media, we designed and built a 20 foot tall camera platform with an independent staircase for easy access. It’s important that this platform is a separate structure so the camera stays in a steady position away from jumping and excited fans.
About our Signage Panels : We were able to showcase the event sponsor throughout the stadium with our hi-resolution drop-in rail signage panels. Our panels slide into our custom designed rail for a clean look and could be changed out in minutes. To complete the look and keep spectators (especially small children) from climbing under the system, we covered the under-structure with new black scrim.
Along with the Fan Fest, Seating Solutions supplied 500 Ultimate bench style seating to the National
Association of Basketball Coaches event. This unit was 10 rows high by 85’ long and fully safety code compliant.
Our Ultimate bench style seating was also featured at the Hance Park festivities, where Sprite Cherry,
the official fan refreshment of Final Four, was displayed on our drop in rail signage panels.
Congratulations to the North Carolina Tar Heels!
We look forward to being at Final Four Fan Fest again in 2018!
